Most software roadmaps are a list of promises. This one is a description of how the thing is built — because the architecture is the promise.
Looper runs every club on the same engine. Your club's app is unmistakably yours — your crest, your colours, your voice — but underneath, every Looper club shares one platform that we build on continuously. That has a consequence worth understanding before you join: when we ship a feature for one club, every club gets it. Nobody waits for “version two of your build.” Nobody pays again. The club that joined in month one and the club that joins in year two are always standing on the same, newest ground.
You buy a club app — and find you've bought a seat on a moving train.
What's in motion now
The spine is live: one official channel for club news, tee-time confirmations and reminders, events with one-tap RSVP, results and leaderboards, member profiles and renewals, and the concierge — the “ask the club anything, any hour” layer that turns the office's five most repeated phone calls into instant answers.
The next stretch of fairway, in the order we're walking it: deeper self-service — payments, green-fee bookings, visitor flows; the committee's view — honest engagement reporting, so the people who approve things finally see what lands; and richer competition and coaching layers that connect the pro's lesson book to the member's game.
The open door — partners who plug in
A club is an ecosystem: tee-sheet systems, scoring platforms, access control, F&B point-of-sale, coaching tech. We have no ambition to rebuild all of it. Our ambition is for Looper to be the surface where it all reaches the member — and for the systems a club already trusts to plug in underneath via API.
We're actively interested in working with the suppliers and technology partners who serve clubs well. If you build something clubs love and want it living in the member's pocket rather than another forgotten login, the door is open. The same goes the other way: when our clubs need a capability we don't build, we'd rather integrate the best supplier than improvise a worse one.
The AI question, answered on the club's side
Every committee is hearing about AI right now, mostly from people selling it. Our position is simpler: we use AI where it serves the member — the concierge that answers at midnight, the comms drafted in the club's voice, the patterns that show a membership quietly going to sleep before it lapses — and we sit on the club's side of the conversation. As the tools evolve, part of our ongoing role is to brief the clubs we serve honestly: what's worth adopting, what's hype, and how to fold the good parts into how the club is actually run.
Clubs on Looper don't need an AI strategy. That's what they have us for.
Why “ongoing” is the whole point
A club app that gets built and walked away from is a noticeboard with better fonts. The value compounds because the relationship does: we host it, run it, watch it, and keep building — and the monthly is what funds the train to keep moving. That's why we're deliberate about who joins, and why founding clubs get a real say in what gets built next. The roadmap above is ours to drive, but the founding cohort is in the cab, not on the platform.
The course ahead is long, and we like our line. If you want your club walking it with us — early, at founding terms, with your hands on the roadmap — now is precisely the moment.
